I've been going to Pete's for a while to service my 2014 GL Bluetec. The car had recently been having a hard time accelerating. I took it to Pete's, where they diagnosed the problem. They were happy to provide a quote, but very importantly, informed me that the repair could be under warranty, and for me to talk to a Mercedes dealer to try that route first. I was happy to discover that the repair would be performed under warranty, because of the whole "diesel-gate" issue that Mercedes and other OEMs ran into many years ago. Of course, I was charged for the diagnosis, but the main thing is that they told me to try to get it repaired under warranty, first, which I plan on doing. This will likely save me roughly $5,000. I continue to have faith in the integrity of this shop. I think that most folks are happy to pay a fair price for work that is done properly done on a vehicle, and that is what this shop has provided in the past. In this case, they showed me how to get the work done under warranty with the OEM. Thank you.
